Job summary

Here in Coventry Community Services, we are seeking to appoint an autonomous Senior Nurse, with a passion for Community Nursing. This is a new post and is great opportunity for you to join our Community Nursing teams where you will provide strong and visible clinical leadership. You will be responsible for leading the ongoing development of clinical practice and high-quality standards of care and you will work closely with others to achieve this.

You will be an experienced and motivated nurse who has a full understanding of what it takes to clinically lead our Community Nursing Teams. You will work in partnership with other Clinical Leads and the Operational Leads to shape our clinical and professional practice aiming for the sustainability of proactive high standards of care for the Coventry population. You'll be recognised for your high level of clinical skills, wide range of experience, and will be a valued member of the clinical and leadership teams.

Person Specification

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Registered with NMC
  • Post graduate education at Masters or willingness to work towards
  • SPQ or relevant experience.
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification or willingness to work towards


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Essential

  • Must have and demonstrate good clinical skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound personal management skills
  • Must demonstrate a high standard of written communications skills


EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Must have extensive experience following registration
  • Experience in the management of complex health and social problems
  • Must have extensive experience in Community Nursing
  • Leadership experience
