We are a dynamic and enthusiastic team who assist with left and right heart catheterisation, angioplasties, electrophysiology studies/ablations, insertion of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter- defibrillators (ICDs), TAVIs, as well as many other procedures.
The Cath Lab and Bronchoscopy department comprises of: five Cardiac Catheterisation Labs, a 6th Hybrid suite, two Bronchoscopy suites and a 10 bedded Holding Bay/Recovery area. We also provide essential care to our acute patients via our 24/7 PPCI service.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will assist in cardiology/radiology procedures following policy, guidelines, and legislation, whilst supporting and monitoring the patient. You will work with team members in the deliverance of evidenced based care in a busy and diverse clinical area. You will have responsibility/contribute to the smooth running of the lab into which you are assigned.
You might have just qualified, or be looking for a change or new challenge. You do not need to have previous Cath Labs or Bronchoscopy experience to join our team as we will provide comprehensive training. So if you are a dynamic, enthusiastic nurse who wants to gain experience with us then come and join our highly motivated friendly team.
