An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant to join CNWL Health & Justice Services.
We are looking for a Consultant who is passionate about manging a complex and challenging group of patients with forensic and rehabilitation needs in a community setting. The Post Holder will be an outstanding clinical leader to the mental health team, and would ideally suit a clinician who enjoys dynamic risk management.

- Responsible Clinician for Conditional Discharge Patients, including reporting to MOJ Conditional Discharge Reports
- Responsible Clinician for Community Treatment Order
- Assessment (including the assessment of risk), treatment, care planning and multiagency liaison for people with mental health
- Undertake Mental Capacity
- Contribute to planned emergency
- Liaison with prisons, courts, statutory and non-statutory agencies, concerning all aspects of the mental health care management of residents with mental health problems.

- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCPsych OR MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
Desirable
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
- Additional clinical qualifications
ELIGIBILITY
Essential
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 3 months of appointment

- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
