Within the Bournemouth East Community Mental Health Team, a position has arisen for a Band 6 RMHN working on a full time basis.
The successful candidate will work as part of an integrated team made up of Psychiatrists, Nurses, Psychologists, Employment Specialists, Physical Health Support Workers, Social Workers, Administration and Support Time Recovery Workers. This is primarily a care-coordination role, where you will be responsible for supporting patients on their journey of recovery.
This position is being offered as a Band 6 position.

You will be a committed, dynamic, motivated professional with excellent communication, assessment & organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your work. You should have recent experience of working in a mental health environment and be able to apply the philosophies of engagement and recovery in your work with service users.
To provide a comprehensive accessible and responsive mental health service to Adults and their families within a defined locality.
To support the team and locality leader in implementation of the Dorset Healthcare Mental Health Strategy.
To continually develop clinical, team and service evaluation and delivery of service.
To contribute to effective multi-disciplinary working within the community mental health service and to build up effective liaison with community, primary, and other secondary and tertiary services/agencies within the locality to provide holistic care based on the individual's need and service development.
The post holder will need to have the ability to travel by car, with business insurance, as they will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community or inpatient settings.About us

- Registered and valid Mental Nurse
- Evidence of recent professional development in an up to date portfolio
- Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
