Our existing services for upper GI, HPB, Bariatrics, colorectal, plastics surgery can offer variety of specialities and fit alongside our excellent 24/7CEPOD service . We have recently become renowned for our Colorectal Robot service which continues to develop and expand. This will ensure the successful candidates have a platform to develop skills and provide a passport to your future career development.We currently have vacancies for Registered Nurses or Registered Operating Department Practitioners at Band 5 in our state of the art Theatre Suite in the specialties of General Surgery and CEPOD Theatres with cover for maternity Anaesthetics and peripheral suites at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
We are very keen to recruit Scrub & Anaesthetic Practitioners with existing skills, all Nurses and ODP's are welcome to apply.Ideally, we are looking for experienced theatre team members, but we welcome applications from newly qualified staff / or new to theatres who can demonstrate a keen interest in joining our team. Any students who qualify in the next 3 to 6 months are encouraged to apply.You will gain a wide range of experience and can expand your skills and knowledge in this challenging and rewarding environment.Main duties of the job

We promote a dual role workforce in our theatre department.In turn, we can offer you a structured preceptorship and induction programme for all new members of staff, plus access to on-going continuing professional education and development, appraisal and clinical supervision.We have vacancies for full time and part time members of staff.
