Ever wanted to gain experience in CAMHS services? We are looking for Band 5 Nurses to join our compassionate and friendly in-patient team within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
Chalkhill is looking for a staff nurse to join its motivated and dynamic team. We want you to be a part of our upcoming projects to help continue to strive for more success.
We have an experienced team and work collaboratively with eating disorder services, paediatric wards and ouron-siteschool, so our young people have access to educational services.
This post offers an incentive or relocation package up to the maximum of �8000 (pro rata applies and subject to terms and conditions)
Main duties of the job
If you have not previously worked in CAMHS, don't worry! Many of your skills from other settings will be transferable and we will provide training to meet any learning needs identified in your appraisal.
You will be closely supported by our Ward Manager, Duty Senior Nurse, Nurse consultant and Charge Nurses, to lead the nursing team in maintaining high standards of care, providing evidence-based practice, and implementing practice development initiatives.
We understand that looking after our staff's health and well-being leads to safer services and better experiences for our young people, and so promote supervision, reflection, training opportunities and monthly team development days.

Job responsibilities
Co-ordinate shifts and provide supervision for support workers and students. Act as a primary nurse in the assessment of needs and organising of care. Be abletotake charge of a designated clinical area and deputise as appropriate.
You will have the opportunity to develop skills in crisis management, leadership and will build excellent working relationships with our partners in the urgent help service, crisis and home treatment teams, and community teams.
