This is a key role within the corporate leadership team of the Trust, and a core member of the Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer's (CSPO) team alongside the Strategy, We Care and Efficiency functions of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will hold the delegated trust wide digital transformation and IT portfolio on behalf of the CSPO and be operationally responsible for the 130 wte that makes up the IT team. The responsibilities of the post holder will include the development and implementation of the digital transformation agenda and ensuring that all digital services meet the Trust's operational requirements.
The post holder will work alongside the Chief Clinical Information Officer and the Chief Nursing Information Officer to ensure that systems and processes are focused on supporting the delivery of safe and effective services to the population of East Kent.
