Band 5 Theatre Practitioner -County theatresTheatres at County consists of a suite of 7 theatres, a modular unit and an ambulatory unit which cover many different specialities.

We require enthusiastic and flexible Band 5's Theatre Practitioners (Nurses/ODP's) to join our team in theatres at County Hospital.

Previous experience in theatres,( e.g. Orthopaedics, Vascular, Gynae and Urology), would be an advantage but not essential. A genuine interest in operating theatres and surgery required. You will need to be a team player with good communication skills and an ability to adapt to new situations with a strong focus on providing excellent quality patient care within the Theatre environment.

Main duties of the job

The post will predominantly be based in the Theatre Department at the County Hospital including the modular unit however there may be a requirement to work in other clinical areas of the Trust including the Royal Stoke Hospital . Education opportunities post appointment will be available through the Professional Development Team.Important Information:Please note the University Hospitals of North Midlands (NHS) Trust, do not pay travel expenses for candidates attending interviews.
