We are seeking toappointPerioperative Care Practitioners (Theatres)
We believe in developing our staff to their full potential and offer a number of tailored post-qualification opportunities, including the Anaesthetic Practitioner programme (RCN accredited and academic credit-bearing), Surgical First Assistant Programme, Practice Supervision, the ILS/PILS, ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills, among other pathways that can lead to post-graduate qualifications. Our operating theatres are split into three units, covering trauma and orthopaedics, emergencies, transplant, vascular and general surgery, max fax, plastics, ENT and paediatrics. In addition to this, there are two other complexes with: day surgery, gynaecology and urology, neurosurgery, maternity surgery and ophthalmology. If you share our vision of continuous growth, with a focus on patient safety and quality care, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job
- To work as part of the multidisciplinary team, providing safe and effective care for patients during the Perioperative period.
- To undertake the management of a defined clinical area in accordance with own competence and level of experience when required.
- To participate as an integral member of the theatre team.
- Participate in the supervision and training of students and junior staff.

- Evidence of continued professional development
- NMC or HCPC active registration or awaiting registration number
