An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our team of 36 at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford.
We are looking for somebody with experience in gastroenterology and an interest in eating disorders. The caseload will be very varied and will work alongside the gastroenterology consultants. We are looking for someone who is proactive and has the initiative to develop and / or improve the efficiency of a service. You will be involved in delivering education sessions to healthcare professionals and patients.
You will join a forward thinking dietetic team which undertakes the training of A, B and C placement students, and also focuses on research and audit in its areas of activity to promote clinical effectiveness in patient care. This is an excellent opportunity in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, with the chance to shadow and learn from the other specialist dietetic teams.
If you are an HCPC registered dietitian with experience and a strong interest in gastroenterology, looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
Given the varied nature of this role, I would strongly encourage you to call for further details. Please call Liz Toft or Steph Francois on 01483 464119.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the nutrition and dietetic management of patients who have gastrointestinal conditions including functional bowel disorders (for example irritable bowel syndrome), inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease.
