We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 nurse who is interested in joining our Critical Care Team as a Senior Staff Nurse.
We are a 5 bedded Critical Care Unit. We care for a variety of different specialities - reconstructive plastic surgery, reconstructive head & neck cancer surgery and maxillofacial trauma and major burn patients requiring HDU / ITU level of care.
We can offer full or part time hours. Rotation on to night duties is a requirement of the role.
If you are successfully appointed to this role and complete a 6 month probation period you will be eligible for a two stage New Starter Premium of �1500 in total. You will receive �500 on receipt of your probation paperwork from your line manager and another �1000 on the one year anniversary of your start date.
Help with relocation will be considered.
Main duties of the job
You must have significant experience in Critical Care and have the ITU Course. In return for you intensive care expertise we will support you in learning the specialities within our unit through education and experience.
As a unit we are a well-resourced speciality and offer excellent career development opportunities to develop both professionally and personally we encourage and support our nurses to actively contribute to our continuing development. We encourage participation in Simulation training.
