Main duties of the job
As a Senior HR Advisor, and with support of the Deputy HR BP's for the Banes, Swindon and Wiltshire directorate (BSW), you will:
- be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues on a wide range of employment matters
- be required to pro-actively manage complex and challenging case work,
- manage complex, multifaceted but exciting projects,
- be responsible for supporting managers through the stages of processes',
- interpret and translate policy for our managers advising them accordingly and checking understanding,
- utilise HR Systems and reporting to analyse and support discussions with managers,
- to support delivery of the overall HR and NHS Strategy by ensuring managers delivery KPI's,

Education
Essential
- Good level of educational acquired through degree or equivalent level of experience.
- CIPD qualification (level 5 or above) or equivalent level of experience.
- CIPD Membership.
- Understanding and significant experience of a range of HR practices and policies specifically case management.
- Experience of delivering work against timescales and to time.
- Sound IT literacy, including word processing, e-mail, internet use and use of HR systems and reporting systems.
- Experience of building effecting working relationships with key stakeholders and Influencing skills
- Ability to deliver information and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Further management study and/or qualifications.
- CIPD/HR Level 7 or working towards.
