If you are a dynamic, enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who has extensive experience from a mental health, primary care or neurological perspective - with a specific interest and focus on fatigue management, we warmly welcome your application for this exciting post in the new Primary Fatigue Service.

This static Band 6 specialist Occupational Therapist role will be based at Dewi Sant Hospital as an integral part of the new, Health Board wide, Primary Fatigue Service and will work closely with colleagues within an experienced multidisciplinary team in order to provide a comprehensive assessment and appropriate intervention to the service users.

Main duties of the job

Acting within their professional boundaries, the post holder will provide support and intervention for the presenting person through holistic person- centred assessment, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care within set parameters and across the multi-agency team approach. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision -making and expert care and support for people within the Primary Fatigue Service.

The successful applicant will have a role in supporting the development of the service and will also have responsibility for students on placement from undergraduate Occupational Therapy programmes

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
