You would be responsible for leading the team of therapists and assistants delivering communication and dysphagia support to a Complex Needs School within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, well supported by the Co-ordinator of Service, and Principal Therapists. You will also have an opportunity to work within our School Years service with particular responsibility for supporting students with Additional Learning Needs.
Main duties of the job
Team leadership for a team of therapist's based in a Special School including supervision and strategic direction.
Specialist assessment and management of students with complex communication difficulties.
Specialist management of students with dysphagia.
Liaising with the school senior management team and other key stakeholders regarding shared priorities.
Being part of a team of senior therapists taking a lead across the department with specific focus on complex needs.
