The post holder will provide day-to-day operational management support to the Assistant General Manager and Business Manager in Surgery and Critical Care.
Working within clearly defined Trust policies the post holder will lead the team responsible for the effective delivery of clinical administration services and systems and will have delegated responsibility for the management of identified personnel.
2 x posts 1 x 37.5 hpw Permanent and 1 x 37.5 hpw Fixed term until 31st May 2024

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide day-to-day operational management support to the Assistant General Manager and Business Manager.
The post holder will also have delegated responsibility for the management of identified personnel, resources and projects, and will ensure that those resources are managed efficiently and effectively, adjusting plans and moving resources as and when necessary, and that any projects are delivered on time and within budget. They will lead the team responsible for the effective delivery of clinical administration and systems.As part of the Group management team the post holder will assist those with joint responsibility for the Group objectives and ensure that they are achieved.

- oSound educational background at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
- oSuccessful Management and Team Leadership Certificate or equivalent.
- oTyping/keyboard qualification
- oRSA III or equivalent.
Occupational Experience

- oAt least 5 years administrative experience in the NHS.
- oEvidence of working with senior personnel.
