Would you like the opportunity to develop your nursing career in the community setting? We deliver care from 8am-9pm seven days a week including weekends and bank holidays working different shifts.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a compassionate, hardworking and motivated registered nurse to join our District Nursing Team in Central Southend/Shoeburyness.
You will have daily responsibility for providing care to patients within the community setting. You will liaise closely with local GP's and other members of the wider MDT as well as with patients and their families, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
There are opportunities for further professional development.
You must be a first level registered nurse, hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a car.

To be a valuable member of the Integrated care Team and make a contributionto patient care and the team working. To function as a Primary Nurse withoutdirect supervision whilst working alongside the DN, who maintains ultimateaccountability for the caseload. To assist in leading and monitoring theperformance and work of the nursing team. The aim of the role is toundertake the responsibility for care as prescribed by the DN and to deputise for the DN as and when required.
