Band 5 Staff Nurse - Ardenleigh - Larimar Acute Ward
Larimar Ward is a 15 Bedded Female Acute Ward based at Ardenleigh Hospital in Erdington ** Please note we are not a part of the Secure & Complex Care Service** We are looking to recruit two passionate, committed and highly motivated Registered Mental Health Nurses/Learning Disability Nurses.
The successful candidates will be joining an established and hard working team who have a wealth of experience to learn from as well as gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Acute and Urgent Care Pathway.
Furthermore, successful candidates will have direct supervision from a nominated Deputy Ward Manager who will help to identify development needs that can help enhance skills and knowledge whilst receiving on-going support/supervision on a regular basis. Encouragement to develop is promoted within the Larimar Team so by recognising individuals strengths and career aspirations, we can offer training opportunities' to meet these needs.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection skills.
Successful applicant must be able to work a full range of shifts, Early, Late, Nights, Weekends and Public Holidays.
Applicants must hold a Mental Health Nursing or Learning Disability nursing qualification
