BAND 7 TEAM LEAD
This is an opportunity for staff with experience managing discharge to assess services to join our Stockport team.
To hold day to day responsibility for managing the provision of clinical services within a defined work area.
Follows broad occupational policies and implements within sphere of work.
Deploy and manage human and financial resources to ensure safe and responsive clinical services.
Main duties of the job
Manage the deployment of the ICaH and D2A teams, considering skill mix recruitment and flexible working patterns.
Provide support for the team across working hours to manage expected and unexpected clinical events within the scope of practice.

Job responsibilities
Supervise and monitor staff rostering and skill mix to maximize effective delivery of care.
Ensures risk assessments are completed and actions implemented to meet the health and welfare needs of staff and patients.
Ensure national and local targets are reported through the organisations reporting mechanisms.
To regularly monitor and report on quality assurance within organisational frameworks.
Act as a professional resource to other healthcare professionals providing support within their scope of practise.
Assess, plan and implement packages of clinical care to patients/clients within own sphere of practice in a variety of community settings.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.
If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of �41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salaryIn addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of �13.
