Ward 17 is a respiratory Ward with a 4 bed High observation bay, which supports patients requiring Non invasive ventilation.
Ward 17 care for patients with Respiratory illness, there is an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in caring for patients requiring NIV, nasal high flow oxygen chest drains, tracheostomy and those patients requiring End of life care.

Successful candidates will be well-supported, and a bespoke training package will be tailored to suit individual learning needs. You will acquire a broad range of extended skills to compliment your passion for nursing including but not limited to venepuncture, cannulation, catheterisation, NG placement and management, complex wound care and much more. You will have access to a wealth of knowledge to help you develop your nursing career - ranging from consultants, specialty doctors and specialist nurses. We want to invest in YOU.
