An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated registered adult nurse to join our Hyper Acute and Acute Stroke Unit based at Hereford County Hospital comprising of a 6 bedded Hyper Acute area and 20 bedded Acute and Rehab area.

We are seeking a motivated Band 5 Staff Nurses to join and work closely with our exciting multidisciplinary teamto provide seamless care.

You will have the support of our experienced band 6& 7 nursing team, therapists, doctors and colleagues.

Main duties of the job

To facilitate multi-disciplinary patient centred care

To support and supervise new members of staff and students

On occasions accept responsibility for the management /Leadership of the ward department in the absence of senior nurse

To facilitate a safe working environment by ensuring Risk assessment updated and robust documentation is completed.
