An exciting opportunity has arisen within Swansea Bay University Health Board, Estates Department for a highly motivated individual to fulfil an Estates Supervisors Engineering role.
The post will be based at Morriston Hospital and will support all other Health Board premises within the Morriston Estates Unit.
The role demands that the individual has an extensive knowledge of both engineering systems (multi discipline) and building serveries preferably within the Health Care Sector.
The individuals should have a proven track record of staff, project and maintenance management. Fully understanding the legal implications surrounding statutory compliance and engineering governance.
There may be a requirement to participate in an On-Call service.
Main duties of the job
To provide a safe, secure and pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors.
To supervise and manage the estates maintenance function in order to provide an efficient and effective service throughout.
Responsible for planning, organising, co-ordination of the workload ensuring adequate deployment of resources, in conjunction with supervising and managing maintenance staff to ensure the provision of an efficient and safe environment within the Health Board healthcare establishments.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
