Dependent on experience & qualifications we are recruiting to either a band 6 or 7.
Main duties of the job
The post is based at The Harbour Inpatient Hospital in Blackpool, covering a range of Mental Health wards including Psychiatric Intensive Care Units, Acute Admissions, Dementia, Elderly and Advanced Care Wards including 136 suites.
The role offers the ideal job opportunity for a pharmacist who may wish to enhance their current knowledge base within the mental health field or are already currently working at this level. We are a supportive Medicines Management team who are able to offer many opportunities for pharmacists to build on their current expertise and encourage all team members to identify and feel empowered to improve their skills.
Hospital and/or mental health experience is desirable but not essential as we have an in-house award-winning training programme to support the successful candidate. We are also able to offer the successful candidate the opportunity to complete the Aston University distance learning Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics, which is accredited by the College of Mental Health Pharmacy (CMHP). Other courses and training events are available to support future clinical, professional and personal development
