The Child Health and Community and School Aged Immunisation Service is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Clinical Lead.

The post holder will work with the Clinical Quality Lead to
  • Ensure the Immunisation service is effective, efficient and safe by supporting the improvement in the capability of the staff and their practice.
  • Support the delivery of an efficient and high quality East of England CHIS.
  • Ensure best practice is built into Immunisation service delivery models and CHIS.
  • Support service audits and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Deliver annual immunisation updates to Practice Nurse immunisers according to the RCN/PHE National Immunisation Training Standard Guidelines.
  • Deliver immunisation updates to HCT CSAIS and CHIS, as required.
  • Support an effective student programme.
  • Ensure the National Immunisation Service is available to the eligible cohort.
  • Ensure immunisation projects achieve outstanding uptake.
  • Implement prudent financial decisions, including being an authorised signatory


Main duties of the job

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • BSc Community Specialist Practice (School Nursing, Practice Nursing, Health Visiting or other relevant specialist qualification) or relevant experience
