Main duties of the job
In conjunction with the Associate Director of Quality and the Head of operations the post holder will positively contribute to the strategic development of the Trust, ensuring best practice and learning is disseminated across the organization and that services are delivered within the GMMH quality framework, supporting the continued success of the organisation in delivering high quality mental health and substance misuse services.

Job description
Job responsibilities
- To establish, lead and co-ordinate AHP Workforce strategy project group.
- To support the Trust in developing AHP strategic workforce plan outlining clear objectives and timescales to deliver clear key aspects of the AHP strategy.
- Utilise complex baseline data and intelligence including workforce numbers, roles, diversity, and vacancies to inform long term workforce planning.
- To provide monitoring and oversight of AHP Data cleanse within ESR.
- To develop programmes of preceptorship for newly qualified AHPs working with AHP faculties to contribute to regional plans for standardised preceptorship programmes.
- To interpret and analyse highly complex facts and data, in order to guide decision making and strategic planning of our AHP future workforce.
- To identify and develop opportunities for career progression for AHP support workforce.
- Interpret national guidance and develops policies to provide reassurance that the Trust development of AHPs is in line with the National strategy.
- To support benchmarking and review of complex information to support the workforce against National AHP support worker framework.
- To contribute to further development of AHP Apprenticeship pathways.
- To work collaboratively to enhance AHP recruitment and careers promotion.
- To enrich and enhance the relationship between the trust and system partners. across the ICS (AHP faculty), Higher Education Institutes, Health Education England and other partners.
