We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialist Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Scientist to join our team working across Swansea Bay University Health Board.

We would welcome applications from either qualified Cardiac Physiologists/Cardiac Scientists.

Morriston hospital is a tertiary centre that provides a wide range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations.

We are seeking motivated individuals to integrate into the team, who have experience and knowledge in a wide range of cardiac investigations. Candidates should be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Main duties of the job

The centre has 3 Catheter labs in addition to a pacing theatre. There is a 24hour PPCI service. Investigations include Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Coronary angiography, PCI (encompassing complex PCI), TAVI procedures, pacemaker/ICD implantation (to encompass complex device implant i.e. CRTD ) and follow up, Electrophysiology and ablation (including 3D mapping), Echocardiography (to include complex imaging techniques i.e. stress echo, bubble studies, contrast echo).Suitable candidates would hold a BSc. Clinical Physiology (Cardiology), STP Msc. Cardiac Science or PTP Bsc. Cardiac Science. Hold registration with RCCP or AHCS.
