We have an exciting new role for a midwife to join our Professional Practice Team as a Clinical Midwife Educator with a focus on Newly Qualified Midwives.

This role is primarily to support newly qualified midwives (NQMs) throughout their preceptorship period with skills acquisition and to facilitate competence and confidence building. Also to support new staff to the Trust and rotational staff who are new to areas supporting safe and effective care.

This post is fixed term for a period of 12 months and offers flexible hours up to full time. At the end of the 12 months fixed period, we will offer external candidates a substantive position in our Trust as a band 6 rotational or core delivery suite midwife.

Applicants must be an NMC registered midwife with at least 1 years experience as a band 6.

Main duties of the job
