An opportunity has arisen in The Accident & Emergency department for a friendly and proactive Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse to join our amiable and energetic team.Our department is a busy and exciting area to work on. It consists of a triage room, rapid assessment area, Resuscitation Room, Trolley Area and Clinical Decision Unit We see an average of 100-125 people a day whom we assess, diagnose and treat. We have a dedicated Nurse Educator, as professional development for nursing staff is a priority. During your employment you have opportunities for different courses and study days. Educational opportunities includes Critical Care training, Immediate Life Support, Recognition of Deteriorating Patient, Mentorship in Practice. Advance Trauma Nursing Course, CBRN.We are currently looking for keen and motivated Band 6 Clinical Sister / Charge Nurse to join our friendly and busy department. You must be a RN with relevant post registration experience in Emergency Nursing. Effective leadership, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills and evidence of professional development is a must. The successful candidate will be required to shift lead and maintain the flow of the department in a safe and efficient manner and you will have the opportunity to work across other sites of London Northwest Healthcare Trust.
