Main duties of the job
To support the Group Head of workforce and OD with the implementation of the Our Patient First strategy that improves business performance and embeds strategic changes in day-to-day practice, through effective change management processes and leadership
To design, delivery and sustainability of Organisational Professional Development and learning services that is strategically aligned to organisational priorities and objectives.
Lead and evaluate the delivery of robust OPD programme that continuously improves organisational performance and cultural transformation through leading edge OD practices andinterventions.

To build the effectiveness and capability of managers, leaders and staff in employee engagement and organisational development skills through establishing effective working relationships, providing coaching and mentoring and seeking opportunities to create synergies between separate departments and directorates
To manage the ILM and apprenticeship centre for the Trust creating opportunities for the healthcare workforce of the future.
To lead the implementation of the Organisational Effectiveness strategy that improves business performance and embeds strategic changes in day-to-day practice, through effective change management processes and leadership
To lead the embedding of Trust values in the staff employment journey and patient pathways
Conduct organisational effectiveness diagnostics and measure and report on OD interventions and progress against the Organisational Effectiveness strategy
Lead the development of shaping an organisational culture focussed on continuous improvement in patient safety, quality and efficiency, learning and meaningful staff engagement
Work with colleagues to identify and consider the impact of change management plans on staff satisfaction and support colleagues in developing and implementing strategies and change management processes to mitigate risks of an adverse impact and promote staff engagement and improve staff satisfaction
