The Trust's budget 2011/12 is �188m. We employ over 3,000 staff, providing care to thousands of patients each year and we have about 600 inpatient beds occupied at any one time. People are provided with care and treatment in hospitals, community health centres, clinics, local authority premises, prisons and their own homes - the vast majority of our work is in the community.
The Enfield Community Rehabilitation Team forms part of the Psychosis Service Line within Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust. The Enfield Community Rehabilitation Team is looking to recruit a Band 7 Specialist Practitioner.
The post is based in Park Avenue in Bush Hill Park, and is pivotal in ensuring that this team provides excellence across all domains of care delivery.

The post holder will work closely with the Team Manager, developing the team and taking delegated responsibility for staff management and supervision.

Main duties of the job
Ability to demonstrate in depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2005, Mental Capacity Act
2005, the Code of Practice, and Children's Act. National Service Framework
Training and advanced skills in a specialised approach such as psycho-social interventions, dual diagnosis, personality disorder or assertive outreach
Knowledge of the process necessary for effective risk assessment and management
Ability to demonstrate a creative and flexible approach to staff managing and in delivering a high standard of care.
Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans to meet needs of clients.
Ability to set, monitor and evaluate standards for quality within the service.
Ability undertake evidence based interventions with people suffering from a range of mental health problems
Knowledge of and ability to work as part of a multi-professional team as a lead clinician and role
model.
Ability to work effectively in crisis situations in order to maintain the safety of both staff and client.
Ability to teach staff and provide advice and support to other agencies / professionals.
Experience of effective communication with other key stakeholders at a variety of levels
