The MRI department will benefit from the introduction of the new state-of-the-art Philips Ingenia Ambition 1.5T system in the next 12 months, within an environment designed to offer the best service to optimize both staff and patients' experiences.

We also have exciting expansion plans underway to increase the MRI service across the Trust over the next 18 months, including the development of our new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) MRI at Mansfield Community Hospital.

The post-holder will work as part of a team consisting of radiographers, a trainee assistant practitioner, and imaging assistants to provide a 12-hour, 7-day service in the MRI Department. The successful candidate will develop specialized knowledge and expertise to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining high standards of care.
