Main duties of the job
UHD Neonatal Unit is a level 2 centre caring for preterm babies of 27 weeks gestation and above as well as sick term babies. We use a range of therapies such as ventilation, cerebral cooling and cerebral function monitoring.
If you are interested in high quality care for the most vulnerable patients and their families we would like to hearfrom you.
Please note: if this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed from your salary.

Person Specification

- Neonatal Nurse Experience
- Experience of caring for babies
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Registration on Part 1 (RGN/RN Adult General), 8 (RSCN/Child Branch), 12 (RM), 15 (Project 2000 Children's Nurse) of NMC Register or equivalent
Desirable
- Teaching Qualification or equivalent / Mentor Course
Language Requirement

- Be able to speak English as necessary to undertake the role
