An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who has the ability to influence and work collaboratively, you will join the Resilience and Specialist Assets Department as the Interoperability Development Officer supporting the London Fire Bridge.
This post is offered as an initial two year secondment, with a possible extension to a further one year by agreement.
Reporting to the Resilience and Specialist Assets Head of Transformation, Engagement and Blue Light Collaboration, you will work at the single point of contact in collaboration with the London Fire Brigade and contribute to the ongoing development of the Immediate Emergency Care in support of the Medical Interventions and Governance Team.
To be successful in this role you will have well-developed skills of persuasion, influencing and negotiation, experience of task and people management, the ability to prepare reports, an understanding of investigation and complaints procedures, and a clear knowledge and commitment to the delivery of high quality and Patient Care Standards and requirements. You will also be able to interpret and analyse data to inform decision making. You will also be able to present sensitive and contentious information to internal and external groups and will need to have the ability to work on your own initiative with limited supervision in a pressurised environment.

- To work in collaboration with London Fire Brigade (LFB) Medical Intervention and Governance Team to develop and implement systems for delivering excellent high quality clinical and emergency care services for London
- Working closely with London Fire Brigade, assisting with the planning, development and delivery of medical interventions programme
- To contribute to the development of Immediate Emergency Care and Medical Interventions pan London for all operational employees

Qualifications
Essential
- Master's Degree, equivalent professional qualifications and/or substantialdemonstrable experience in a similar role or setting
- Level 3 Award in Adult Education or specialist knowledge within the field of R& SA with a commitment to successfully complete the Level 5 award within 12 months of commencing the role
- HCPC registered paramedic
- Certificate in Practice Education
- Able to drive in emergency conditions/blue-light driving
- Full, driving licence, valid in the UK and with no more than 3 penalty points
- Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or willingness to complete within 12mths
