The Emergency Admissions Unit (EAU) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is looking for registered nurses who are passionate about providing excellent patient care within a vibrant and motivated team. The Emergency Admissions Unit is housed within a state-of-the-art Emergency Care Centre (ECC) which was purpose built in 2015. The ECC has brought cutting edge healthcare to Gateshead, where we pride ourselves on innovative ways of providing emergency care to patients.

Main duties of the job

To provide High standard of patient centred care to patients.

To promote professionalism and ICORE Values.

To work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team , and be able to recognize the need to escalate clinical concern.

To work as an effective member of the ECC team supporting the patient journey
