We are recruiting for a Senior Digital Delivery Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The Senior Digital Delivery Manager (SDDM) is responsible for the delivery of digital services and solutions that realise ENHT's strategic direction and enhDigital roadmap. They write business cases, plan, manage risk, negotiate, influence, and resolve conflicts to implement a project.

Main duties of the job

The SDDM writes business cases, plans, manages risk, negotiates, influences, and resolves conflicts to implement a project. They will also be responsible for developing the Delivery practice, including roadmap prioritisation, development of tools and methods and representing the function inside and outside the Trust.

You will be one of a small team of digital delivery managers and you will be recognised by the clinical service teams we support. The role is senior but also hands on, including business change work.

While this role requires appreciation of technology, change delivery skills, stakeholder management and insight into what digital solutions offer are the essential competences. Technical experience is desirable, not required.

Qualifications / Training


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Able to coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean processes
  • Practitioner level understanding of PRINCE2 methodology and control documentation or equivalent
  • Highly proficient Experience of using Microsoft project management tools to a high level of proficiency
  • Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Vision
  • Commitment and willingness to undertake on-going training and development

Experience / Skills


  • Experience of effectively communicating the strategy to the broader team and stakeholders, including explaining the impact of the strategy on the work area, the rationale behind the strategy where there may be substantial barriers to acceptance.
  • Proven ability and experience of demonstrating strong credible, professional leadership skills including the provision of clear direction, motivating and inspiring others to overcome obstacles of delivery, and providing a culture of empowerment, accountability and recognition.
  • Proven track record of success in challenging and influencing established beliefs and behaviour to deliver major change when there is no direct line of command or control, or where there is significant resistance to change.
  • Uses knowledge of audience views and interests, chooses and employs diverse methods, tools, and resources to educate and build enthusiasm in potential partners and supporters
  • Experience evaluating and implementing complex business processes.
  • Experience developing effective working relationships with project teams to ensure optimum outcome for the project.
