This post is for a qualified nurse who wants to further their experience and skills in nursing. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate good clinical skills and will be responsible for individualised care of patients. They should be able to assist with education and supervision of learners. Be able to supervise and co-ordinate other staff as appropriate. Take charge of the ward or department in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility.

Main duties of the job

Experience and knowledge in basic nursing care is ideal for this job role and preferable. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to become part of the ward team . You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and professional education . We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about cancer care , can work well within a team , has good interpersonal skills and is able to demonstrate confidence in both emergency and non- emergency and provide a role model to other members of the team .

  • Diploma/ Degree IV Cannulation Mentorship programme

  • Fundamental Clinical Skills: Observations, Manual Handling Basic Life Support
  • The ability to communicate with patients in an empathetic manner regarding their treatment and procedures.
