The post holder will be one of a team of analysts responsible for the extraction and processing of data from the data warehouse or other data collation sources and using SQL and SSRS to provide insightful business intelligence reporting, analytical presentations and interpretations that will enable our clinical and operational colleagues to make decisions. The post holder will have responsibility for the extraction and analytical manipulation of weekly/monthly information and performance reports at any level as required. These reports will include benchmarking information, monitoring of Health Standards and inclusion of non-patient performance information (eg Finance and HR). Work will include detailed analysis/trends of performance as required by the Trust to effectively manage trust performance.

Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Trust Leadership Team, Divisional and Directorate Management, Clinical staff, Corporate Support teams, Patients and their families
External: Integrated care system representatives, NHSE improvement support teams, Health Economy stakeholders, Patients and their families, and Peer Trust representatives
Liaises With: All internal staff, patients and their families and external stakeholders as required (as required).
Risk Assessment: Concentrated periods of computer based working..
Job Purpose:

- A minimum of 3 years experience as a data analyst, with an excellent understanding of Microsoft products.
- Basic to 'competent' knowledge of SQL and SSRS
Desirable
- Specialist knowledge and expertise working with large and complex datasets.
- Advanced skills in SQL and SSRS. Understanding of Statistical Process Charts

- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (or with equivalent knowledge/skills through work experience in similar roles)
