A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, suitably qualified, confident and forward-thinking Physiotherapist to manage and lead the Acute Respiratory Physiotherapy service at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust based in Scunthorpe General Hospital.
You will lead an established team of highly skilled staff and will work as part of the Acute Inpatient Team in Scunthorpe General Hospital.
You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong leadership and staff development skills as well as a proven track record in change management. A strong commitment to your ongoing professional education and development is essential.
Regular supervision and support is provided and to assist your development into a band 7 role.
Main duties of the job
You will manage and lead a team of registered Physios, Assistant Practitioners and Therapy Assistants. You will be based at Scunthorpe General Hospital working on the acute wards but also providing an outpatient respiratory service.
You must be able to provide clinical leadership and motivation to develop the existing staff whilst maintaining high professional standards, demonstrating a commitment to staff development and patient care. Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of the specialities the service provides is essential.
You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong leadership and staff development skills as well as a proven track record in change management. A strong commitment to your ongoing professional education and development is essential.
You must hold a current HCPC registration with a degree or Diploma. The applicant must have experience post-registration, and experience of working with Band 6 responsibilities.
