An exciting opportunity has risen within our team and we are looking to recruit a Band 6 nurse who is driven and innovative.
We welcome applications from those who are experienced in end of life care and are ready for the day to day challenges of managing and leading a team.You must be a Registered Nurse with proven leadership skills and an experienced nurse at Band 5 in a hospice and/or healthcare establishment.
As a Band 6 Nurse on the Inpatient Unit at Meadow House, you can further develop your specialist skills as well as your managerial, leadership and teaching skills within a positive and challenging environment.There will be opportunities to undertake professional development in all areas of specialist palliative care.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the day to day clinical management of the In-Patient unit along with two other team leaders supporting the Band 7 Ward Manager. You will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and support workers to deliver a high standard of specialist palliative care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
We pride ourselves in providing an excellent standard of patient care and we are committed to supporting patients and their families with complex palliative care needs at the end of their life.
