We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer or Imaging Healthcare Scientist to join our Imaging Infrastructure Support Service (IISS) at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). This is a key strategic managed service associated with the maintenance and replacement of imaging equipment. The primary focus will be responsibility for oversight and delivery of project work related to the IISS programme working in close collaboration with our Managed Service Provider and the IISS programme manager.
The IISS team have a diverse portfolio, from imaging department redesign to equipment selection and installation, as well as the day-to-day management of Trust party damage events. You will need a high degree of motivational skill, have a strong working knowledge of a radiology department and a sound understanding of the capability of the technologies.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for leading, supporting and co-ordinating multiple or various areas of project work involving imaging department redesign, equipment selection and installation and supporting clinical teams in decision making. Proactively implement IISS programme activities as directed by the IISS programme manager. Be a point of contact for clinicians in relation to IISS programme and equipment updates. interact with both Trust and our Managed Service Provider close colleagues. Analyse complex, sensitive and conflicting information and datasets including activity and patient flows, demand/capacity and performance data. Present information appropriately to the audience to enable them to take action. On a day-to-day basis they will be responsible for the management of Trust party damage events ensuring timely replacement and communicating findings to the clinical teams to ensure that further damage is minimised, and appropriate controls put in place. Actively contributing to management and operational meetings with the service provider and play a large involvement in project meetings. A source of support to the IISS Programme manager and on occasion deputise in their absence as appropriate.

- oEducated to Masters's Degree level or equivalent experience .
- oStrong working knowledge of radiology and the department, including patient pathways and referral processes
- oSound understanding and knowledge of the capability of Radiology imaging technologies
- oEvidence of leading and implementing change, influencing behaviour, and collaborative working with others.
- oExperience in managing multiple concurrent projects and conflicting priorities to ensure deadlines are met
- Able to demonstrate behaviours that meet the Trust Values o Patients First o Always Improving o Working Together
