This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has Decontamination/Sterile Services experience to join our team.
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team. and to able to work across all sites when required.
Mid Essex Sterile Supplies Department is a friendly and fast paced Unit supplying the Trust Theatre complex and other areas with sterile packs and instruments.
The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. Experience in Sterile Service/Decontamination is essential.
You will ensure the safe decontamination of re-usable medical devices from the MSE, to assist with the management and education of all staff within that department and will work in close collaboration with other professionals e.g. Clinical Directors, Consultants, Clinical Nurse specialists and ward / department representatives to select best choice products required by clinical staff and their patients.

You will be professionally responsible and accountable for the day to day running of the service and ensure a compliant, professional, high quality, cost effective and efficient service to meet the demands of the organisation, it's patients and staff.
