The Ultrasound service is Sonographer led, receiving referrals from GPs, outpatients, wards and the Emergency Department. The department also provides the lithotripsy service, for which full training is provided.

The successful candidate will have a professional and practical attitude to their work with strong imaging and reporting skills. To undertake a wide variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, maintaining high professional standards of technical competence.

- HCPC registered
- DCR or degree in Radiography
- DMU or Post Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound
- MSC in Ultrasound
- Evidence of involvement in audit PGcert or equivalent in appropriate reporting modality
- Experience across a wide range of ultrasound examinations
- 1 year post Ultrasound Diploma experience
