We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.
You will support the delivery of the Group Human Resources Service to the three Acute Hospitals within the MSEFT group and external organisations, ensuring that a proactive, comprehensive and operational approach is provided, which supports the MSEFT workforce strategy and business objectives.
Monitor and further develop the Nursing Practice Development Programme in conjunction with NMC recommendations.
Participate in projects linked to nursing and governance.
To promote learning in the workplace, identifying training and development needs of nursing staff.
Identify and act upon sub optimal nursing practice.
Assist in the implementation and review of local and national nursing initiatives and policies.
Deliver the recruitment of and undertake ongoing review of all bank and agency qualified nurses.
You may be expected to travel to any one of the three sites as required for meetings.
Main duties of the job
Collaborate with operational managers, particularly divisional managers, senior clinical leads and other senior staff as appropriate to ensure temporary staffing needs and requirements are acted upon efficiently.
Proactive networking with other Temporary Staffing team to share knowledge and discuss best practice and implement viable solutions within the internal function for all staff-groups
Ability to deal with highly sensitive information
Working with the Resourcing Teams with the planning of recruitment campaigns to engage bank workers and increase capacity on the bank for Registered Nurses
Responsible for ensuring robust processes and procedures are followed to monitor management information relating to the utilisation and performance of temporary Qualified Nurses as required by MSEFT governance structures, highlighting key areas of risk and/or cost efficiency including making recommendations for improvements
Ensure that bank staffs have been assessed as competent to deliver clinical care.
Working with the Temporary Staffing Clinical Manager, the post holder will be expected to support in ensuring that the processes in place for Qualified Nursing Temporary Staffing are robust and congruent with the Groups overarching strategies and deliver the organisation's objectives.
