We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Midwives who would like the opportunity to develop their clinical and management skills. This will include both permanent and fixed term contracts. These posts are ideal for band 6 to develop management skills and leadership.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced Midwives to deliver excellent leadership to the Delivery team. You also need to be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills to support and develop junior Midwives.

Band 7 co-ordinator is responsible and accountable for safe and effective person centred care is provided by Midwives and support staff to meet the individual needs of pregnant women.

Demonstrate effective resource management to include budgets and non-pay resources.

Implement effect risk management processes within the MDT

Provide a supportive environment that enable staff and students to develop ongoing learning.

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential

  • Registered Midwife
  • Intravenous accreditation
  • Experience as practising midwife and Fulfils KSF outline for Midwife practitioner (Band 6
  • Post registration experience including a recent experience on the Labour Ward/Birth centre
  • Prep for Mentorship course or equivalent


Desirable

  • BSc or working towards
  • Newborn examination
