We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Delivery Manager/Nurse to support the agile UCLH research delivery to achieve their objectives.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of delivery resource to research studies across UCLH. The post is a senior member of the Research Directorate at UCLH and will work alongside other senior staff to deliver the necessary resource and support to enable maximum efficiency and delivery to the research portfolio at UCLH.

The post holder will be expected to travel across UCLH and UCL sites as required.

Person Specification

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

  • First level registered nurse
  • Completed or working towards a masters in nursing, research, ethics or a relevant subject
  • Leadership & /or management Qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of scientific conduct of clinical research including the planning, coordination and conduct of clinical trials
  • Detailed knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and Research Governance together with the ability to disseminate the knowledge and information
  • Knowledge and understanding of current challenges facing the NHS


Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrates up to date knowledge and expertise in clinical research
  • Experience of working with clinical trials within a healthcare setting
  • Managing and leading a team
  • Experience working in the NHS
  • Facilitating a range of training and educational activities


Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrates awareness of clinical efficiency measures
