The training of doctors is a vital component of delivering high quality care to our patients and service users. We would like to recruit an exceptional candidate to join the East London NHS Foundation Trust's Medical Education team as our Faculty Development Coordinator, based primarily out of our Trust Headquarters in Aldgate, London.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Medical Education Manager and supporting the Trust's Faculty Development Lead, you will provide high quality administrative support and guidance in relation to faculty development initiatives, predominantly for all Consultants and SASG doctors with regards to their continuing professional development needs, ensuring ELFT's faculty of teachers and trainers work in line with local and national requirements across the whole organisation, including London, Luton and Bedfordshire.
The Medical Education team supports a number of academic programmes, teaching and courses for doctors. You will support those in relation to Consultant and SASG development as delegated by the Faculty Development Lead and the Medical Education Manager - examples include SASG doctor away days, faculty development training, Consultant simulation and other courses which meet professional development needs identified in personal development plans.

To apply for this exciting role, you will need to have at least two years' experience working in a busy and demanding office environment managing a varied workload. You will have a high standard of written and verbal communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages. You must also have knowledge of Medical Education or relatable training systems and processes and ideally have previous experience of managing training and educational requirements for medical staff.
