Specialty Doctor - CAMHS, West Lancashire
We are currently seeking to recruit a Specialty Doctor in our community CAMHS team, to join our well established cohort of doctors in the Trust. This post will provide an excellent opportunity to develop skills in CAMHS and assist in career progression. The post is full time, fixed term for 12 months and will be based at Westgate House, Skelmersdale.
Main duties of the job
You will be an opportunity to work in a fantastic MDT, comprising of a team leader, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social worker, and occupational therapist, CBT therapist, family therapist, ADHD nurse specialist and support workers.
The West Lancs CAMHS team is one of the 6 CAMHS Service within the Trust. The team is well-established with established networks with GPs, Children's Services, local schools and the Paediatricians at the Ormskirk hospital.
About us
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC, and have a licence to practice.
It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.
Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Specialty Doctor Contract according to previous experience, based on Ten Programmed Activities (PAs) per week.
