The haematology service at UCLH is one of the biggest inpatient acute haematology/BMT services in Europe with 98 beds split over 6 wards and 2 sites.

Main duties of the job

You will be a dynamic and high calibre nurse with a background and keen interest in clinical haematology, highly motivated wishing to develop management and leadership skills in a dynamic and genuinely supportive environment.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register.
  • Teaching course
  • Relevant clinical course
  • Honours degree (Level 3/ FHEQ Level 6)


Desirable

  • NVQ assessor


Experience

Essential

  • a.Minimum 4 years' relevant clinical and managerial experience in a senior position


Communication

Essential

  • Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats


Personal And People Development

  • Demonstrates evidence of professional development in line with KSF, maintains updated Portfolio
