Set on the outskirts of the New Forest, Ford Ward is based at Fordingbridge Hospital so is an idyllic location with easy access to the New Forest, the award winning beeches at Bournemouth and Sand Banks and close to the larger towns of Ringwood and Salisbury.
Ford Ward is a 15 bedded unit and has a large day room, dining room and therapy room which are all conducive to rehabilitation.
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our Rehab Team. You will be responsible for the day to day leadership of the physical health team and provide clinical support and supervision to your team. The successful applicant will work as part of an inpatient nursing/therapy team involved in Patients rehab to enable them to achieve their individual goals in order to be discharged safely from hospital, and they must have excellent communication skills in order to work effectively with both the integrated team and wider community care provider.
Main duties of the job
To provide high standards of care for patients and their families by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care without direct supervision but within scope of professional practice.
