The Theatre arrivals and discharge unit is a busy elective surgical theatre admissions and day case discharge area.
As the Band 6 Sister you will be responsible for supporting the lead nurse in the management of the unit and the staff, coordinating the day to day running of the unit whilst providing a high standard of quality care.
The interview date for this role will be 05/10/2023
Main duties of the job
Responsible for maintaining a high standard of clinical work whilst carrying out nursing procedures.
Responsible for the safe custody of medication including checking and administration.
Responsible for the day to day management and motivation of colleagues.
Ensure compliance to local and government policies and frameworks to maintain the highest standards of care for our patients.
Support the Lead nurse in the appraisal process and the completion of duty rotas and any other appropriate duties.
