We are looking for enthusiastic and clinically focussed professionals to join our Pharmacist Bank at Scarborough and York Hospitals. The banding of this job will be Band 6 - Band 7, depending on previous experience. Previous experience in ward based environments is essential and training will be provided on site with CPD opportunities available.

Education, Qualifications and

Essential

  • Pre-registration training.
  • GPhC registration


Desirable

  • Practical hospital pharmacy experience (> 1month)


Experience & Knowledge Require

Essential

  • Understanding of practical issues around medicines risk.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of patients with respect to the use of medicines.


Desirable

  • Understanding of Clinical Governance and/or understanding of medicines management.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Can describe specific actions to minimise risk.


Skills & Attributes

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, persuasiveness.
  • Ability to use information technology in support of the role.
  • Team working and working independently. Good time keeping.
